RAGBRAI®,
The Register's Annual
Great Bicycle
Ride Across
Iowa®, is an annual seven-day
bicycle ride across the state. RAGBRAI is the longest, largest
and oldest touring bicycle ride in the world. The RAGBRAI route
averages 471 miles and is not necessarily flat. It begins somewhere
along Iowa's western border on the Missouri River and ends along
the eastern border on the Mississippi River. The route changes
each year.

Bikes should be shipped via High Country Shipping
or FedEx to arrive in Iowa between July 19 and July 22. These
services will be your cheapest options and transit times from
anywhere in the contiguous United States to Iowa should be 4
business days or less. See FedEx Web site for Drop off Locations,
Rates and Transit Times from your area.
Boxes need to be clearly marked : TO BE ASSEMBLED
with owners information for identification. We will charge $35
per bike for assembly. Bikes will be held in a secure area and
need to be identified with owners information to pickup in Sioux
City.
Shipped bikes should not arrive earlier than
two weeks prior to the start of the ride. Riders are strongly
encouraged to make their reservation in advance with HCS online.
After your online order is placed, HCS will then contact you
to confirm shipping. Riders will be charged when their bike
arrives on time in Iowa.

souvenirs like RAGBRAI t-shirts, do wraps and jewelery.
Buy them during the week of RAGBRAI or shop early and
have them sent to you before the ride. Check our webpage

or give as a gift to someone left at home.
